The SAFE Alliance is a structured partnership between SafePlace and Austin Children’s Shelter, two organizations that serve the survivors of child abuse and neglect, sexual assault and exploitation, and domestic violence.

Our Impact: Austin Children’s Shelter

In 2014, we provided:
• 4,769 days of emergency shelter care
• 108 children with emergency shelter care
• 12 teen parents shelter and life skills preparation
• 10 children of teen parents with parent reunification
• 24 youths shelter & independent living preparation via Transitional Living Program

Our Impact: SafePlace

In 2014 we provided:
• 35,517 nights of emergency shelter
• 673 individuals with emergency shelter
• 99% of hotline callers with a reduced sense of crisis
• 100% of clients a better grasp of available legal options via Legal Services Project
• 96% of clients the ability to better manage effects of trauma via Counseling Services
